FSC certification with RINA
In June 2020 an annual FSC audit took place at Drewexim manufacturing facility. As a result of the inspection the FSC certification for scantlings and pellets has been extended. The current FSC certification is valid till 6th July 2023 (licence number FSC® C012158).
FSC®, which means Forest Stewardship Council® is a global organisation which promotes responsible forestry around the world. FSC creates guidelines of sourcing and processing the wood. Wood used in the manufacturing process of Drewexim's certified products is sourced from well managed forests with FSC certification.
Since 2020 Drewexim cooperates with the control unit RINA Poland Sp. z o.o.. It is a Polish representative of Italian accredited control unit set up in 1861 - RINA S.p.A. RINA offers services also for the energy, marine, transportation and infrastructure segment of the market. RINA has recently created Biosafety Trust Certification a system for preventing infection from biological agents. 2 Italian airports, the largest Aquarium in Europe and Italian opera has already obtained RINA's Biosafety Trust Certification.
